Aramex Adapts with SAP SuccessFactors

Listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and based in the UAE, Aramex has grown rapidly into a global brand in the transportation industry, with 16,000+ employees in 65+ countries, spanning over 600 offices.

Challenge

The global logistics industry is constantly changing. To maintain its competitive advantage, Aramex wanted to ensure its workforce could adapt quickly. In order to have enough data to make real-time decisions and respond immediately to market changes, the company decided it was time to update its HR processes.

Another challenge was time—Aramex wanted to realize the business case for the upcoming annual performance management process, which meant little room for adjustment to timelines as delays would cause the project’s go-live to shift by one full year.

Solution

Effective People was selected as implementation partner, and the project was based on the SuccessFactors standard methodology and best practice experience for implementing Employee Central and Performance & Goal Management.

To support the new system, Effective People created extensive training materials, including leaflets, webcasts, Q&As, articles, and classroom training for both managers and employees. The project was successfully completed within the agreed scope and timeframe.
